Gregory Steinberg
Professor, Medicine

Dr. Gregory Steinberg is a professor in the Department of Medicine, and Co-Director of the Metabolism and Childhood Obesity Research Program (MAC-Obesity) at McMaster. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Metabolism and Obesity, and the J. Bruce Duncan Chair in Metabolic Diseases. Dr. Steinberg’s research focuses on understanding molecular pathways controlling the metabolism of fat and sugars, and how hormones such as insulin and serotonin regulate these effects.
