Overview

Dmitry E. Pelinovsky is a professor of applied mathematics at McMaster University (Canada). He received MSc in 1993 at Nizhny Novgorod State University (Russia) and PhD in 1997 at Monash University (Australia). His research includes analysis and applications of nonlinear partial differential equations and lattice equations for propagation of nonlinear waves and coherent structures. He is an Editor-in-Chief of Studies in Applied Mathematics and a deputy editor of Physica D, two major international journal on nonlinear dynamics. He is a recipient of the Humboldt Research Award in 2021.
