Grant Mcclelland
Professor, Biology

My research focuses on the ontogeny, phenotypic plasticity, and evolution of metabolism (mainly skeletal muscle) using integrative animal physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology approaches. This research includes the comparative physiology and biochemistry of exercise in vertebrates, environmental physiology (high altitude and temperature adaptations, metal toxicity), and the regulation of lipid metabolism.
