Dr. Robby Nieuwlaat is Associate Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University. He is the Acting Director of the Michael G. DeGroote Cochrane Canada Centre, co-Director of the International Guideline Training and Certification Program (INGUIDE), and Director of the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology (GDCE). He is also a member of the Guidelines International Network (GIN) and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation working group (GRADE). His main research interests include clinical epidemiology, guideline development, implementation of best practices, evidence synthesis, and health research methods development.
