Social Work

The Social Work Department operates within a framework acknowledging pervasive power imbalances rooted in various factors such as age, class, ethnicity, gender identity, and income.  Through comprehensive education, critical reflection, and community engagement, the department equips students to address social inequalities, advocate for marginalized groups, and contribute to political and institutional change aimed at fostering social justice and empowerment.
