Overview
The Department of Physics & Astronomy is dedicated to upholding the institution's tradition of robust undergraduate and graduate teaching programs intertwined with innovative research initiatives. Comprising 22 full-time, research-active faculty members, over 70 graduate students, and approximately 10 postdoctoral researchers, along with an upper-year cohort exceeding 100 undergraduate students, it fosters a dynamic academic community. Students have the opportunity to actively participate in research projects as early as their second year, promoting a seamless integration of teaching and learning.
