Gita Wahi
Associate Professor, Pediatrics

Dr. Wahi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, McMaster University and a staff pediatrician at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Dr. Wahi’s academic work is synergistic to her clinical practice that includes inpatient pediatric medicine and the care of children with obesity in the Children’s Exercise and Nutrition Centre at McMaster Children’s Hospital. The aim of her research program is to improve the lives of children and families who are often neglected in health research and who are at risk for and/or have childhood obesity by mobilizing health promotion approaches and advancing treatment strategies in partnership with families.
