Early Dexamethasone Treatment Induces Placental Apoptosis in Sheep
Abstract
Glucocorticoid treatment given in late pregnancy in sheep resulted in altered placental development and function. An imbalance of placental survival and apoptotic factors resulting in an increased rate of apoptosis may be involved.
