Abstract
Although cholera toxin (Ctx) and Escherichia coli heat-labile enterotoxin (Etx) are known to be potent mucosal adjuvants, it remains controversial whether the adjuvanticity of the holotoxins extends to their nontoxic, receptor-binding B subunits.
