Contraction-related stimuli regulate GLUT4 traffic in C2C12-GLUT4myc skeletal muscle cells
Abstract
Muscle contraction stimulates glucose uptake acutely to increase energy supply, but suitable cellular models that faithfully reproduce this complex phenomenon are lacking.
