Brain metastases from papillary adenocarcinoma of the thyroid.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Papillary thyroid adenocarcinoma (PTA) is the most common type of thyroid malignancy. Distant metastatic spread is relatively rare, most commonly affecting the lungs and bone.
