Proteins of the Glycine Decarboxylase Complex in the Hydrogenosome of Trichomonas vaginalis†

Abstract

Trichomonas vaginalis is a unicellular eukaryote that lacks mitochondria and contains a specialized organelle, the hydrogenosome, involved in carbohydrate metabolism and iron-sulfur cluster assembly.
