Patients’ Perspectives on End-Of-Life Issues and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators

Abstract

Increasing numbers of cardiovascular patients are receiving implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) for primary prevention of sudden cardiac death (SCD). This report examines patients' perspectives on related end-of-life issues.
