Abstract
Clopidogrel (Plavix), a platelet aggregation inhibitor, has been shown to be effective in certain patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions, but its use in patients with acute myocardial infarction who receive a fibrinolytic strategy instead has been controversial.
