Abstract

BACKGROUND: The role of aspirin in thromboprophylaxis after total hip arthroplasty (THA) is controversial. OBJECTIVE: To compare extended prophylaxis with aspirin and dalteparin for prevention of symptomatic venous thromboembolism (VTE) after THA.
