Abstract
Bone metastases occur in approximately 80% of patients with advanced cancer. They are characterized by cancer cell growth and bone destruction that cause pain, fractures, anemia, and hypercalcemia. At diagnosis, bone metastases are usually incurable owing to their advanced development.
