Hybrid Architecture for Remote Instrumentation Application
Abstract
This paper starts by defining remote instrumentation as a commercial application and its basic requirements. It is shown that these requirements can be met by extending the existing web services model. The main body of this paper focuses on how the Web Services model should be extended to handle live data sources.
