Triggers for acute mood episodes in bipolar disorder: A systematic review
Abstract
OBJECTIVES: To identify triggers of acute mood episodes in bipolar disorder (BD).
METHODS: We performed a systematic review in the following databases: Pubmed, Embase, and PsycInfo following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis guidelines. The systematic search encompassed all relevant studies published until May 23rd, 2022.
