Dynamic mechanical properties in relation to adiabatic shear band formation in titanium alloy-Ti17

A Split-Hopkinson Pressure Bar system was used to determine the dynamic mechanical properties in relation to the formation of adiabatic shear bands in titanium alloy-Ti17.
