A Complex RNA-Cleaving DNAzyme That Can Efficiently Cleave a Pyrimidine–Pyrimidine Junction
Abstract
Several RNA-cleaving deoxyribozymes (DNAzymes) have been reported for efficient cleavage of purine-containing junctions, but none is able to efficiently cleave pyrimidine-pyrimidine (Pyr-Pyr) junctions.
