Convolution-Based Forced Detection Monte Carlo Simulation Incorporating Septal Penetration Modeling
Abstract
In single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging, photon transport effects such as scatter, at-tenuation, and septal penetration can negatively affect the quality of reconstructed image and quantitation.
