Patient preferences for oropharyngeal cancer treatment de‐escalation
Abstract
BACKGROUND: The excellent prognosis of human papillomavirus (HPV)-positive oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs) against severe chemoradiotherapy (CRT) toxicities has opened discussion of deintensification trials.
