Biomechanical risk factors and flexor tendon frictional work in the cadaveric carpal tunnel

Abstract

Pathological changes in carpal tunnel syndrome patients include fibrosis and thickening of the subsynovial connective tissue (SSCT) adjacent to the flexor tendons in the carpal tunnel.
