Overview

Dr. Bader Alamri is an endocrinologist and internist. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. His clinical and academic interests include diabetes care, continuous glucose monitoring, diabetes technology, and improving glycemic management across inpatient and outpatient settings.

He serves as Physician Lead for Professional Development and physician lead for the Diabetes In-patient Care and Education (DICE) team at Juravinski Hospital. Dr. Alamri is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, including CTU teaching, core and fellowship teaching, and assessment development.

His scholarly work focuses on the clinical implementation of CGM and its relationship to glycemic variability and patient outcomes. He is also the creator of MacDiabeTech, a diabetes-technology education symposium designed to advance practical, evidence-informed care for people living with diabetes.
