Overview
The Canadian Centre for Electron Microscopy (CCEM), part of McMaster University since its establishment in 2004, operates as one of Canada's 17 national research facilities, funded by the Major Science Initiatives program since 2014. With top-tier electron and ion microscopes and a team of 13 skilled professionals, CCEM facilitates cutting-edge research across diverse fields, serving a broad community of over 500 users annually and producing more than 140 peer-reviewed articles yearly, with a mission to empower users and partners in tackling future material challenges.
