Zoopharmacognosy in Diseased Laboratory Mice: Conflicting Evidence

Abstract

Zoopharmacognosy denotes a constellation of learned ingestive responses that promote healing and survival of infected or poisoned animals. A similar self-medication phenomenon was reported in diseased laboratory rodents.
