Assessment of gastric emptying using a low fat meal: establishment of international control values

OBJECTIVE: The diagnosis of gastroparesis implies delayed gastric emptying. The diagnostic gold standard is scintigraphy, but techniques and measured endpoints vary widely among institutions.
