Tissue Plasminogen Activator Overdose in Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients Linked to Poorer Functional Outcomes

BACKGROUND: The dose of intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) administered in acute ischemic stroke patients is calculated using the patient's weight (0.9 mg/kg).
