Delivery of recombinant gene product to canine brain with the use of microencapsulation
Abstract
An alternative approach to somatic gene therapy is to deliver a therapeutic protein by implanting "universal" recombinant cells that are immunologically protected from graft rejection with alginate microcapsules.
