Abstract

STUDY OBJECTIVE: To quantify the absolute risk of thromboembolism associated with a significant subtherapeutic international normalized ratio (INR) in patients with previously stable anticoagulation while receiving warfarin. DESIGN: Retrospective, matched cohort analysis.
