Magnetic structure of the heavy-fermion alloy CeCu2(Si0.5Ge0.5)2

Abstract

The heavy-fermion alloy CeCu2(Si0.5Ge0.5)2 orders antiferromagnetically with a Néel temperature of TN≈3.1K. In an elastic neutron scattering experiment (performed at T⩾0.33K) antiferromagnetic satellite reflections were observed. A first interpretation of the observed intensities in terms of a magnetic structure is given.
