Upper arm anthropometrics versus DXA scan in survivors of acute respiratory distress syndrome
Abstract
Survivors of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) experience severe muscle wasting. Upper arm anthropometrics can provide a quick, non-invasive estimate of muscle status, but its accuracy is unknown.
