Deborah DiLiberto
Assistant Professor, Medicine

Dr. Deborah DiLiberto is the Director of Education with the Mary Heersink School of Global Health and Social Medicine, McMaster University, Canada, and participates as a member of the Consortium for Global Health—a collaboration of higher education institutions in nine countries dedicated to delivering and advancing global health education.

Dr. DiLiberto’s teaching and research focuses on innovative strategies for the design and evaluation of complex health interventions across diverse settings. She employs a mix of epidemiological, anthropological, and participatory methods to investigate how health services are designed, delivered, and adopted. She is particularly interested in how these methodologies shape the production and use of evidence in both research and policy-making. She also explores interdisciplinary teaching and learning approaches within global health education.
