Sue Becker is a Professor in the department of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University, a member of the Centre for Advanced Research in Experimental and Applied Linguistics at McMaster, adjunct scientist at the Rotman Research Institute in Toronto, adjunct faculty member in the Centre for Vision Research at York University and faculty affiliate at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Toronto. Her research focuses on how the brain stores and retrieves memories, and how the medial temporal lobe memory system/default mode network interacts with brain areas in the service of episodic future thinking, planning and decision making.
