X-ray spectromicroscopy studies of polymer microstructure
Abstract
Scanning transmission X-ray microscopy (STXM) has been used to study the chemical composition and morphology of spontaneous and artificially generated polymer microstructures. Examples include quantitative studies of the internal structure of polymer microspheres, photoconductive thin film structures, and free-standing confined polystyrene thin films.
