Gated magnetic resonance imaging of metastatic intracardiac malignant fibrous histiocytoma.

We report a patient with right intraventricular metastatic sarcoma who underwent gated magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. The study provided good images of the tumor, though definition was degraded by signal from slow flowing blood. The demonstration of cardiac anatomy was excellent, and this was helpful in planning subsequent radiotherapy.
