Abstract

The low-molecular-weight heparins (LMWHs) have been proven superior to placebo in reducing the incidence of acute coronary ischemic syndromes. Comparative studies vs. unfractionated heparin have not demonstrated superiority in favor of the LMWH dalteparin.
