Abstract
The incidence of nonenzymatic glycation of proteins within the hyperglycemic environment of diabetic plasma is increased compared with that in normal (i.e., nondiabetic) plasma. Whether glycation in vivo alters the behavior of proteins within the circulation is not well understood.
