Abstract

The distribution of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) and neurotransmission were investigated in lower oesophageal sphincter (LES) circular muscle strips from Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats, Ws/Ws mutant rats and their wild-type (+/+) siblings.
