Peripartum Management of Women with Suspected Hereditary Thrombocytopenia.
Abstract
Introduction: Hereditary macrothrombocytopenic disorders are rare syndromes characterized by mild to moderate thrombocytopenia, large platelets, and a variable bleeding phenotype. In general, the diagnosis must be made clinically and management is empiric.
