Intraoperative prochlorperazine for prevention of post-operative nausea and vomiting

The effectiveness of 10 mg IV prochlorperazine in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting was compared with placebo when given perioperatively to 100 patients in a prospective double-blind randomized trial.
