The status of the ICR/RAL, BaF2-TMAE positron camera
Abstract
A novel BaF/sub 2/-TMAE (tetrakis dimethylaminoethylene) detector has been developed which can simultaneously achieve 5-ns timing, 5-mm spatial resolution, and 20% detection efficiency. The chamber can operate in a stable condition for periods of several hours. Results of projection imaging are also presented.
