The effect of surface grinding and Si addition on the corrosion of Fe-12Cr ODS steels in supercritical CO2
Abstract
In this study, the effects of surface grinding and Si addition on the corrosion behaviors of Fe-12Cr oxide dispersion strengthening (ODS) steels in supercritical carbon dioxide were investigated by multiscale characterizations. The surface grinding resulted in the formation of an ultrafine grained layer, effectively promoting the formation of protective oxide scales.
