Abstract

The study explores the interrelationships among growth hormone (GH), somatostatin-14 (SRIF), non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA), gonadal steroid hormones and thyroid hormones (THs) in sexually recrudescent rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) to examine aspects of the complex set of physiological changes associated with gonadal growth and maturation.
