Structural Load Analysis of a Wind Turbine under Pitch Actuator and Controller Faults

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the characteristics of a wind turbine under blade pitch angle and shaft speed sensor faults as well as pitch actuator faults. A land-based NREL 5MW variable speed pitch reg- ulated wind turbine is considered as a reference.
