Distributional effects of ‘general population’ prescription drug programs in Canada

Abstract. Canadian household prescription drug expenditures are studied using the Statistics Canada Family Expenditure Survey masterfiles for periods that include the introduction of provincial ‘general population’ prescription drug programs.
