Comparison on index system and features of current international drinking water quality standards

This paper compares three current authoritative international drinking water quality standards - Guidelines for Drinking Water Quality of WHO, Council Directive on the Quality of Water Intended for Human Consumption of EU and National Drinking Water Quality Regulations of USEPA - on index system, features, influences and popularized countries. Meanwhile, it pointsout that establishing and carrying out various standard systems are closely related with economic development, technique level, environmental conditions, etc.
