OBJECTIVE: To test in a prospective clinical cohort study the reliability and validity of the age-of-onset subtyping of conduct disorder. METHOD: Participants were adolescents referred to psychiatric clinics who met DSM-III-R criteria for conduct disorder by structured diagnostic interview.
