119: The Need for Safer Pool Fencing: A 10 Year Retrospective Study of Paediatric Drownings

Abstract

Drowning is the second leading cause of injury related death for Canadian children. For every child who dies from drowning, another five receive emergency department care for nonfatal drowning injuries.
