This research project aims to explore Haudenosaunee knowledge of alliance relationships that were originally sanctioned through the 1613 Two Row Wampum, the Covenant Chain of Friendship and the Six Nation's Haldimand Tract Treaty of 1784, and that continue to be relevant in the present-day relationships between the Haudenosaunee and non-Indigenous people.
